Foam Rolling is a highly underestimated piece of equipment that can provide similar benefits as deep tissue massage to help promote flexibility and help keep common injuries from occurring.
Using your own body weight to roll on this high density polyetherlene tube, you can massage away restrictions to soft tissues, aiding in the breakdown of 'knots' (constricted areas of muscle fibres), and improve circulation. Furthermore, you can perform this program in the convenience of your own home. Used primarily for the Quadriceps, Calves and IT Band, Foam Rolling can be used for both pre and post exercise. From experience, extremely good for high mileage runners. Foam Rollers come in various sizes and qualities, the foam rollers we supply are made of high density polyetherlene (enough to bring Chuck Norris to grimice!), measuring 63cm x 14 cm diameter.
